ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Fit:

Design Works completed a major project for Cabela’s.  We completely revamped all of the company’s grade rules based on their customer and ASTM standards.  The scope of this included men’s, women’s, youth, toddler, and infants.  We worked with the key people from multiple departments to achieve approval on the proposed updates. Then implemented this into the company’s PLM system to be used by the design and development teams.

Trends:

Design Works recently redesigned 7 Eleven’s uniforms.  The company wanted to capture and appeal to the millennial consumer.  We combined apparel trends with food and convenience store trends to put together a presentation suitable to this client.   Upon approval on the trend direction, we proceeded with the uniform design.

Design:

Design Works created OGIO’s first apparel for SanMar.  After receiving trend approval we created for OGIO, Design Works designed their launch collection.  We achieved what the company was looking for by tailoring

the product to speak to the roots of their product line through details and trims.  All while adhering to calendar deadlines from 2 companies.

Product Line Management:

Design Works set up Ryka’s entire system for apparel line.  Including Trend, Design and Tech Design, we set up each aspect of the development process.  We laid out timeline calendars, line plans and standardized technical specifications.  We monitored everything through line boards for the company.

Sourcing:

Increased Daden Group’s margin significantly by recommending alternative sourcing to the company.  We achieved this by moving the product to a different production facility and working with them to approve the product to Daden Group's standards.

Research:

Design Works put together research for Pizza Hut's new uniforms focusing on the millennial market.  We were charged with appealing to both their employees and patrons through their apparel.  Through focused research, Design Works put together a presentation and presented it to the team.  From this research and presentation, our client IQ Group, was awarded the program to redesign their uniforms.
